Some 8 years ago when New Vintage was first created I was painting furniture to sell and doing custom work. At that point it time I was still exploring furniture paints and a lot of trail and error was part of that journey. Chalk paint was truly the most popular thing and I really did love it.
However the brand I was using had 2 elements to it that I found didn’t sit with me or my business structure. 1. The wax had solvents, so hard to use and also chemical based, no thanks! And 2. When I applied to stock it the criteria was HUGE and out of my reach at that point in time.
And as you all know, in the mean time we chose Fusion Mineral Paint. Now we LOVE our Fusion, we have worked so hard to teach and inspire our clients, and as a result we all love our Fusion. It certainly has a strong role to play in the furniture paint world. This won’t change.
BUT our original love of Chalk Paint has always been there, especially for the ease of applying it, the way it distresses and of course the texture you can get with it. So we were so excited to hear Jolie had hit the Aussie shores about a year ago, and after settling into the shop, surviving our 1st Christmas and now in the best position to take it one, we are SO CRAZY EXCITED for it to be happening.
So you may ask, what is the difference between Fusion Mineral Paint and Jolie?
Jolie is NO PREP, yep, clean if necessary and PAINT. And this is for all surfaces, varnished, painted surfaces, metal, glass, plastic, lameness. The wax is STRONG and strong enough to tolerate high traffic! Kitchen, simply clean, paint and seal! Even the hardware 👍
The colours are to DIE for, and even though their is not thousands of colours, the ease of mixing and creating new colours, all of which are on the website, is so fun and achievable!
I simply cannot wait for you all fall in love with our Jolie paints like we have
Being a Mumma to 4, a friend to many and a business owner, how to find the balance?
You simply don’t!
